A Note from Matthew Bryce:
This year I have been very privileged in that I was invited to represent Taqwa School at the Association of Independent Schools ACT (AISACT) as part of their Literacy Coaching Academy Program. This program is designed to assist schools in implementing data driven improvement plans based on evidenced research. My role is to work collaboratively with my colleagues, both internally and externally, in analysing student literacy data and to design and implement a project to enhance student outcomes throughout the school. This is an ongoing process culminating in a presentation of our project at the ‘AISACT Celebrating Teaching and Learning Sharing Day’ in Term 4.
