It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to Taqwa School, an establishing co-educational independent Islamic school in Canberra. Currently we have students from Kindergarten to Year 4, with subsequent year groups beginning in the near future; eventually offering schooling to Year 12.
Our aim is to develop young people of character who act with compassion, kindness, integrity, humility and courage. Our staff are highly qualified and are committed to the holistic development of our students within a nurturing environment. We challenge our students to be the ‘best they can be’ where taking risks with their learning is encouraged and celebrated. Whilst we our proud of our Islamic identity, we are a fully inclusive school that embraces diversity: “a lot of different flowers makes a bouquet,” and as such we welcome all students irrespective of faith, religion and culture.
I invite you to explore our website and learn more about our school. The website will provide an overview of what we offer, yet nothing is more powerful than visiting the school and witnessing for yourself our ‘learning in action’. Our doors are always open! Please feel free to contact the office on: 02-6181 6870 or email: email@example.com to arrange a visit to our wonderful, welcoming school.
